I aim to create a sense of community and have a social impact. In Colombia, I did much social work involved with dance movement therapy. I worked with a community of girls who had been abused and abandoned by their families and could not afford dance classes. I approached this community of children using dance in a therapeutic and healing way, creating a space to free themselves from physical and mental limitations and expand their sense of freedom and way of seeing life. I wrote a research book called "A Dance for Social Change" after the transformative and healing process with this community. Helping, healing, inspiring, and transforming communities through art is what I want to do for the rest of my life.
