Sofía Forero is the founder and Artistic Director of The Heraclitus Project. Her work has been presented in renowned venues such as Sony Music Hall (Times Square), Dixon Place, Davenport Theater (Off-Broadway), Union City PAC, Hudson Guild Theater, Dance On The Lawn Festival, Hudson Valley Festival, and Greenpoint Gallery. She has received commissions from prestigious organizations including the American Swiss Ballet Company, New York Foundation for the Arts, Arts On Site, Works On Water, AVA Gallery, Spoke The Hub, in New York, and Théâtre Antoine Watteau in France. Most recently, she co-created and produced Mosaïque, an interdisciplinary performance blending dance, music, and visual art, which premiered and toured in Paris in 2024.
