SOFÍA FORERO
EDUCATOR
Sofía Forero approaches dance as a universal language that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers. Her classes, workshops, and seminars are designed to cultivate a rigorous yet inclusive sanctuary— a space where dancers feel supported, heard, and deeply connected to their individual roots and identities.
Central to her pedagogical mission is the belief that community is both formed and transformed through movement. By encouraging reflection, discovery, and artistic growth, Sofía fosters a metamorphosis within her students, empowering them to use art as a tool for societal change. Her work is dedicated to increasing accessibility and diversifying the narratives shared within the dance world, ensuring a culture of belonging built on mutual support and profound human connection.
